1. Get-Acquainted Phone Call

In our 30-minute Get-Acquainted Call, we learn a little about each other and determine if we’re a good fit for each other.

2. Financial Overview Meeting

Just as you might hire a general contractor for a small task to assess his/her abilities before having your entire home remodeled, the Financial Overview is your chance to work with our staff and assess the value of our services before you enter into a retainer agreement with us.

There is a fee for this two-hour meeting, as it requires at least two weeks of preparation by our staff. During the meeting, you’ll receive a detailed net-worth report, answers to your most pressing questions, suggestions for next steps, and alerts about possible dangers. We’ll make sure you understand the services we recommend for your unique situation. At the end of the meeting, we’ll give you a copy of our retainer agreement along with an estimate of your fees for retaining us printed on our letterhead to take home and discuss.

3. Agreement

If you’re ready to retain our services, you’ll return your signed agreement along with your first payment via check. (The fee for your Financial Overview Meeting will be credited toward your retainer fees.)

4. Financial Planning Meetings

We’ll set up two-to-three Financial Planning Meetings, which last up to three hours each (typically 9:00am-noon).  These meetings cover cash-flow maximization, tax-reduction strategies, retirement planning, an insurance review, account titling, estate planning, asset protection, investment recommendations, and more. We’ll also assist you with opening all accounts with proper titling and completing transfer paperwork to consolidate your assets.

5. Consistent Checks

We proactively schedule review meetings with you to discuss time-sensitive strategies such as opportunities to refinance, converting IRAs to Roths, when to claim Social Security, etc. We are happy to participate in tax-planning calls with your CPA. You can also reach out to us any time you need advice.
